Boiling Point

Ok so I'm a terrible cook. Just then I fucked up trying to make two minute noodles. I was supposed to put boiled water on the noodles before I microwaved it but I didn't read the instructions and missed that part. So instead, I put the noodles in the microwave for an extra minute to compensate. While waiting, I decided to see if water was microwavable and that's when I stumbled upon all these articles saying water can superheat and explode if you put it in your microwave. They all said that there was a chance it wouldn't boil and that if shaken or if something were to go inside the liquid if could explode and scold you.

Cautiously, with a towel covering the blast radius, I opened the radiation shield. I waited a second to make sure it wouldn't combust by randomly. Next, I carefully stuck my fork into the bowl. No explosion. Hmmm. Still wary of a possible explosion, I draped the towel over my face and proceeded to carefully remove the bowl from the microwave without and surprises.

It was pretty obvious it wasn't going to explode after the "fork test" but I had to be sure. Even now, I'm looking at my noodles suspiciously, as if they're going to combust any second now.

Butters.
