No and Thank You Please Madam

WHATSUP GUYS. Bread here. Yeah, I do have to apologize about my absence. My sheep suit has gotten unbearably itchy these past few weeks, hence, the lack of posts.
Well, I thought of this /amazing/ innovation for you scarce PV fans. Bread's font will be green! Unless it's excruciatingly hard to read, in which I'll just change it to another font or something.

I don't really have anything casual to drone on about, I leave that to my personal blog, (check it out if your in a philosophical (My Elaborative Masquerade) but I shall leave you something to make your ears happy

When the word "post-hardcore" springs to mind, I immediately think of a bunch of young lads called "A Day To Remember."
Most of you probably know these guys from there cover "Since U Been Gone." If you like that track, your gonna love these.

A Day To Remember - Heartless
A Day To Remember - The Danger in Starting a Fire
A Day To Remember - Show 'Em The Ropes

(and now for some light house/power-pop[ish] stuff)

Adele - Hometown Glory (Chewy Chocolate Cook Remix)
Shiny Toy Guns - Rocket Ship

Well that's it from me guys. Flip me off, put it all together, and you got yourself some fine lookin' hearts aye?
Decipher that one.

Dude, This Is My Jam!

I thought I might share some exciting news of late. My friend Josh hooked up with some girl at my school's social last night. They were together like half the night! Today he found out 1. She's bisexual. 2. She's already taken. and 3.She has *GIRL*friend. No offence to all my bisexual friends and fans out there but dicks on you Josh.

Whoever chose the music deserves a little "POW! Right in the kisser!"- action. I was extremely disappointed especially since the DJ manning the booth went to my school. Well I'm going to make sure next year's formal really goes off. Might even grab some gear over the holidays and collaborate with that wolf in sheep's clothing we call Bread.

The Maine - We Change, We Wait
Just Surrender - Tell Me Everything
The Movielife - If Only Duct Tape Could Fix Everything
Anarbor - Always Dirty, Never Clean

Yeah, I know I'm mean :)

So This Is What We're Up Against?

I hope I haven't had all you guys worried about my sudden "disappearance" after camp. It was actually on the verge of being alright, I guess. Unfortunately, the reason for my absence isn't as exciting as a broken leg from launching myself 3 metres into the are on a bmx and having the front wheel dig itselfy firmly into the mud. No, I was smart enough to abandon the bike halfway through and roll out of what could've been something tragic. However, I was lucky enough to land into a nice big pile of horse shit.

Since then, nothing all that interesting has happened, although perhaps playing "box" Lacrosse at Hisense Arena qualifies (yeah that's right :p). I've heard people complain about how hot it gets out there under the lights but I never knew just how bad it actually is. Oh and the world's best player was there and he watched a bit of our game!

But enough about me, here are some fresh tunes.

Set It Off - I Promise
Inability To Breathe - Addison
Alexisonfire - This Could Be Anywhere In The World
(The house starts here)
Wolfgang Gartner - Push and Rise
The Virgins - Rich Girls (The Twelves Remix)
Miami Horror - Sometimes
Miami Horror - Make You Mine (Fred Falke remix)
Metric - Help Im Alive (The Twelves Remix)

P.S Not only are there around four weeks left of school, there are around four weeks before the almighty Bread comes back to civilisation!

He Never Made It Through A Day Of School.

"Four nights, and five days" - at least that's what the teacher says. Personally, I reckon it'll feel more like an eternity (spent in hell). It had to happen sometime, and I guess now is a good time for it, but did they have to put us in cabins alphabetically? Five days away at camp with none of my friends. Woo...

In other news, apparently I made the All-Star team for the tournament and since it was a national competition I'm pretty hyped. And all those pro players from the states are holding a clinic in like two weeks which will be awesome.

A Rocket To The Moon has had me hooked all week with their first full length album "On Your Side". Without a doubt, this my all time favourite album kicking Between The Trees' "Spain" and Set Your Goals' "Mutiny!" firmly out of the way. Don't worry if you can't find it yet, it doesn't hit the shelves until 13 October.

A Rocket To The Moon - Mr. Right
A Rocket To The Moon - Annabelle

They're Gonna Eat Me Alive

It's weird. Playing lacrosse for a week has caused me to pretty much all my motivation in other areas. Unable to finish my holiday homework, I stayed home yesterday, waking up at 10am to get started on my "Scream" film review. I must've watched it like 14 times because I still hadn't finished it by 2 this morning which is when I decided to give up and get some sleep. What's worse is that now, with the season over and all, I wont be seeing my lax buddies for quite some time now. Couple that with hating 99% of the kids at your school and you're set to explode.

After all this, I think I'm starting to understand a friend of mine who was in a similar position to me just last year, especially why he dropped out of my school - not a day goes by now where I don't consider it. High-achiever or not, I still feel the effects of alienation at school. And sure, simply moving schools sounds like a good option but what if the same thing happens and I don't meet anyone I can relate to. Also, where would I move to! As far as I know, there's no decent affordable schools in the area. Public is not an option because as an aspiring engineer/physicist I someday hope to go to MIT and I doubt your average public school is going to be able to help me achieve that goal.

Enough with my life story and on with the music.

Sorry if you're not a big house fan but it just happens to be all I've been listening to over the past two weeks. So, as a little favour I'm gonna mix it up a little and post my favourite Metric song. Guaranteed to soothe your killer headaches from listening to electro.

Metric - Help I'm Alive

But as I said, house is all I've been listening to all week so here's my song of the week.

Theatre of Disco - YOA (The Twelves Remix)

Semi-Pro

Just a little disappointed over here. It's the Monday after the Sunday that we lost the National Championship. We came so close to winning, recovering from 0 - 4 at first quarter time to 4 - 5 at half. Unfortunately we let it slip and ended up losing by a bit. I got MVP ("most violent player" says my dad) so I guess something good came out of it all, for me at least.

We didn't finish off our lacrosse season with a bang but all in all it's been pretty good. With no lacrosse, I'm struggling to find direction due to massive withdrawal symptoms (one day after lol). Fortunately there's a big All Star Tournament later this month between some of the best players in the world. They're all flying over here and I might get the chance to meet them if I make one of the junior teams who are opening the matches. Fingers crossed.

Oh and check these boys out.

Rave?

club Pictures, Images and Photos

Good friends of mine would know that I'm playing in an under 15 national lacrosse tournament at the moment. And the 'tournament dinner' for all the players and coaches ended up being a massive rave with blinding strobes and really dirty and trashy electro. I've got a mammoth headache at the moment so I'll keep it brief.

An old favourite of mine straight from my 'Riding' playlist by Fake Blood. An awesome remix of it that was played tonight was what got me into the... mosh? Not too sure what to call it but hey it was hectic so yeah, here it is boys and girls. Bon Appetitte.
Fake Blood - Mars

Goodnight from Butters.

Oh and did I mention that we're in the top two teams in the comp?
